If you want to set your team up for success, it's important to get leadership buy-in and set clear expectations for employees. Here is a success plan you can refer to for rolling out Lattice at your organization.
First: Familiarize yourself with the platform
Read the Getting Started Guide for Admins and complete the Getting Started with Lattice for Admins: How To course in Lattice University to learn all about the different tools in Lattice. Your first time accessing Lattice University will require a one-step registration with your existing Lattice credentials
Determine which tools you want to launch first:
Second: Plan your launch approach
There are many different approaches to launching Lattice. Here are a couple of our favorites:
The "Phased" rollout approach: This method is perfect for companies new to formalized Performance Management. Choose 2-3 of your favorite tools (think "What did I buy Lattice for?" or "What am I most excited by?") and roll these out first. After your team is comfortable with those tools, slowly roll out the rest. Typically, each rollout phase takes 1-2 months.
The "All out" rollout approach: This method will work if your company is familiar with a formalized Performance Management system and already has processes for most of the tools Lattice offers. By rolling out all tools at once, employees can quickly get started and gain value from the complete system.
Third: Set up your Lattice system
Set up your Company Page.
Input your important HR program dates into the Lattice Calendar.
Add your Company Values to Lattice.
Set up Custom Fields and Permissions
Add Employee Pay information
Fourth: Configure your Lattice tools
Add company-specific tool content such as:
Company and Department Goals.
Competencies and Job Tracks.
Create Compensation Bands
Lastly, invite your employees into the system
Send an email introduction to Lattice to your organization with our Getting Started Guide for Employees and our Getting Started Guide for Managers.
