Introduce your team to Lattice surveys
Below is an email that you can use to introduce your team to Lattice Engagement Surveys and why they are so important. You can change the information in the email to align more with your team's launch, but make sure to answer three key points in your launch email:
- What you are doing
- Why you are doing it
- Your expectations for the team
Check out our Change Management Hub for additional email and presentation deck templates.

Hi Team,
We will soon be using Lattice to run engagement surveys, which will be run [Cadence] to check our progress and identify new areas for improvement. Engagement surveys are an important way for us to collect anonymous feedback in order to understand how you are feeling about your role, your team, the company, [etc]. Your responses will help us assess what we're doing well as a company and where we could improve in order to help make [COMPANY NAME] a better place to work.
We’ll be launching [ENGAGEMENT SURVEY NAME], which will be open [DATE RANGE]. Please block off [X minutes] on your calendar to complete the survey.
What to expect from Engagement surveys:
- Survey anonymity. Survey responses are anonymous in Lattice. Individual survey responses are never available in reporting—only aggregate scores are viewable. This means that scores and comments are abstracted from the survey record and cannot be identified back to an individual response or the person who submitted it.
- What happens after the survey is finished? After the survey is finished, the People Team will review the results and share key themes of where we're doing well and where we can improve. For the areas of improvement, we will share action items that we’ll be working on over [TIME FRAME].
Below is our engagement survey timeline:
- [date] - Survey launches
- [date] - Survey ends
- [date] - Results are analyzed by the People team
- [date] - Results & action plan will be shared at [company all hands/team meeting]
