Introducing your team to Lattice 1:1s
Below is an email that you can use to introduce your team to Lattice 1:1s and why they are important. You can change the information in the email to more align with your team's launch, but make sure to answer three key points in your launch email:
- What you are doing
- Why you are doing it
- Your expectations for the team
With that in mind, here is a sample email format that you can use to introduce your employees to 1:1s:
Hi Team,
We'll soon be using Lattice to help facilitate communication among all employees. Lattice’s 1:1s (one-on-one) tool will help provide structure to your [in-person/live] meetings, giving you a collaborative space to share agenda items and take notes. Additionally, because you are able to schedule these meetings with anyone at [COMPANY], they will also serve as a space to give and receive ongoing feedback from your manager and colleagues.
What to expect from 1:1s:
- All employees will have a [INSERT CADENCE HERE, i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly] 1:1 with their manager in Lattice.
- All employees are encouraged to utilize the 1:1 tool with their colleagues effective [ADD DATE HERE]
- The 1:1 tool can connect to existing calendar events. When setting up a new 1:1 in Lattice, be sure to have the 1:1 meeting already established on your calendar with a recurring cadence (the system will not sync with an ad hoc event) prior to connecting the event in the Lattice platform.
