Helpful templates for writing successful internal communication when launching Lattice
When launching Lattice to your company, it is important to make three key points to your team:
- What are you doing?
- Why are you doing it?
- What expectations have you set for your employees?
With that in mind, here are two sample email formats that you can use to introduce your employees to Lattice:
Hi team,
I'm thrilled to share that we are rolling out a new performance management system called Lattice!
Lattice will help us [(insert your value proposition to employees) streamline our review process and emphasize the importance of candid and timely feedback for everyone in the organization]. Employees can [request feedback from anyone in the company], so they can proactively understand the best ways to manage their performance.
Lattice includes modules for:
✅ Reviews (we'll start with a general review, then roll out different styles to keep things fresh)
✅ Feedback (real-time feedback and praise that integrates w/ Slack)
✅ 1:1 check-ins (customizable templates and shared meeting agendas)
✅ Updates (periodic, company-wide)
✅ Goals (organizational, departmental, & individual)
✅ Engagement (in-depth surveys and quick pulse surveys)
✅ Grow (set up growth plans for your career track)
✅ Compensation (tie performance and compensation together)Lattice also has a host of asynchronous courses in Lattice University that you can check out to learn anything you want about their platform. I encourage you to start with this one below! (Note: You'll need to register for Lattice University first, it’s separate from your Lattice login).
