As anonymous comments get submitted through Pulse, the Slack integration can be set up to feed them into the Slack channel of your choosing. This will allow you and your executive team to have a real-time feed in order to continuously get a pulse on company sentiment without having to log in to Lattice.
Setting up the Pulse Notification Integration
The Slack configuration will give you the opportunity to customize which notifications you receive and which channel each type of notification should post in. Under Pulse, you will be prompted to choose the channel you want the anonymous comments to feed into. Note: The hashtag (#) symbol is not required to input the channel name.
We highly recommend using a private Slack channel that only includes yourself and the executive team since these comments may contain sensitive information you may not want to be shared publicly.
Once you have designated which private channel you'd like the pulse comments to push through, you'll need to invite Lattice to the channel in order to finalize the integration. To do this, message the channel "@Lattice" as shown in the second screenshot below.
Once the configuration has been finalized, all anonymous comments will be posted within the channel as a feed for you and your executive team to view and gather insights.
