When you compare your select time period with the previous time period, it compares it to the previous time period to the date range you've selected. For example, if the time period is set to 90 days, the previous time period would be 90 days before that time range.
Note on filtering by tenure
Lattice treats Pulse 'tenure' buckets based on what the employee's tenure is today. For example, let's say an employee is set to hit their 1-year tenure on November 24, 2020. This employee will be pulled into the filter "Tenure = 1-2 years". Now, let's say in the future, this employee has hit the 2-year mark. In this case, their data will be only be shown if the "Tenure = 2-4 years" is marked.
