After a pulse survey has started receiving employee responses, survey admins can begin navigating and analyzing the participation reporting.
To access participation reporting, navigate to Admin > Engagement > Surveys > open the Pulse survey > Participation.
Participation reporting
To filter participation reporting by time, choose the Time Range and select a time period from the dropdown.
The Participation page measures two different metrics for the Pulse surveys:
- Participation: The total percentage of employees who participated in the survey.
- Response rate: The number of questions answered out of all questions asked in the survey.
Note: Hovering over the Participation and Response rate will reveal the count.
The Participants table
The Participants table includes two views that list all employees who have received the Pulse survey:
- Departments: View survey progress for all respondents in a given department.
- Managers: View survey progress for all respondents of a given manager.
Within the table, you can view:
- Department/Name: The department or the name of the manager the employee surveyed is assigned to.
- Participation: Percentage of employees who participated in the pulse survey.
- Response rate: Percentage of questions answered.
Note: If the user responds to the Pulse, the data attributed to the user will be updated and locked to reflect the user's data at the time the Pulse was submitted.
Export participation data
The Participation page allows you to export the following as a CSV:
- Number of Participants: Count of participants in the Pulse Survey.
- Number of Employees Surveyed: Count of all users who were sent the pulse survey.
- Number of Employees Responded: Number of employees who answered at least one question in the pulse survey.
- Participation Percentage: Percentage of employees who participated in the pulse survey
- Number of Responses: Count of responses made by participants
- Number of Questions Sent: Count of total questions sent to the participants.
- Response Rate Percentage: Percentage of questions answered by participants.
