Lattice admins are able to connect Lattice to Checkr to initiate background checks in Checkr during Lattice Onboarding as well as view the status of a background check.
Before you start
- In order to enable the integration, you must have admin access in both Lattice HRIS and Checkr.
- Lattice does not allow users to resubmit a background check after a failure. Action will need to be taken with Checkr.
Integrate with Checkr
- Navigate to Admin > Platform Settings > Integrations.
- Under Onboarding Integrations, select Checkr.
- In the Checkr pop-up, either create a new account or sign in to an existing account.
- Once your account is credentialed by Checkr, the status will show Completed in the Lattice Checkr tile.
Order background checks
Once a new employee is hired and their profile has been created, admins are able to add a background check as one of their Onboarding tasks.
- Navigate to Admin > Onboarding > Overview.
- Select Onboard new employee.
- Enter the required fields to create the new hire’s profile.
- Once entered, you'll be directed to Run a Background Check.
- Select your preferred node (if applicable) and choose the background check package for the new hire.
- Once completed, select Next and proceed through the remaining sections of the setup.
- When ready to do so, select Start Onboarding. You will receive a confirmation that the onboarding plan is now active, which means the background check invitation has been sent to the new hire by Checkr.
Review a Background Check
To review in-progress background checks, you'll need to access the new hire’s onboarding plan.
- Navigate to Admin > Onboarding > Overview.
- Select the new hire whose onboarding plan you wish to review.
- Under Background Check Tile you have access to the following details:
- Invitation Stage:
- Invitation Status
- Invitation Sent Timestamp
- Invitation Link
- Invitation Completed:
- Report Completion ETA
- Report Completion Timestamp
- Report Status
