Admins are able to add the I-9 Form for new hires to complete during their onboarding.
Set up the I-9 Form
- When creating an Onboarding Template, under Documents, toggle on Form I-9.
- In the dropdown Assigned to review documents and complete Section 2 select:
- Onboarding Admin
- Specific employee
- Complete the setup for the template.
Onboard a New Hire with the I-9 Form
- Navigate to Admin> Onboarding > Overview > Onboard new employee.
- Under Template Assignment, select the Onboarding Template that includes the I-9 Form.
- Complete the Onboarding Setup.
During Onboarding
- During Pre-Boarding, new hires will navigate to Documents.
- New hires will complete Section 1 of the I-9 and upload the required documents.
- The reviewer will either Approve or request for the new hire to Reupload or Resubmit.
Note: If the new hire is asked to reupload or submit, they will be notified via email. If this is before their start date, they will be notified on their personal email.
