When integrated with ADP, admins must follow the steps below to deactivate a user.
Note: When your Lattice account is integrated with ADP, most users will be automatically deactivated in Lattice once they are terminated in ADP. However, there are some exceptions, such as users who were manually added to Lattice that do not have an ADP profile. In these cases, you can manually deactivate the user directly within Lattice by following the steps below.
- If the employee exists in ADP with the same email address for work email, ensure the user is marked as Terminated first in ADP, otherwise the deactivation may be overridden upon the next sync. Otherwise, proceed to step 2.
- Navigate to Admin > Organization > Directory.
- Select Export CSV.
- Within the CSV download, find the user you wish to deactivate and change their Status Column from Active to Terminated.
- Save your file.
- Reupload the CSV by navigating to Organization > Directory > Add Employees > Upload CSV.
- Within the upload modal, select Skip this step > Upload CSV.
- Select your file and click Close once the download is complete.
