A list of notifications for our Compensation feature and when you can expect to receive them
Once you have navigated to the Notification Center, there are few options for how notifications can be sent when it comes to our Compensation tool— through Slack/Microsoft Teams and/or through Email.
Compensation notifications are sent as follows:
- When a compensation cycle launches
- When compensation cycle results are shared
- If two-way visibility is enabled, when the next level recommender submits their recommendations
To send these through Slack/Microsoft Teams or email, you can check on the boxes to the right of Compensation, as shown below.
When a compensation cycle launches
Admins will have the opportunity to customize a launch message to compensation cycle participating managers during the setup.
This notification will be sent via email, Slack, or MS Teams (depending on your notification settings). When the cycle is launched, participating managers will receive a task on their Home page prompting them to complete their compensation review.
When the next level approver submits their recommendations or approvals
If two-way visibility is enabled during the initial cycle setup process, a participating manager will receive a notification when the next-level approver has submitted their recommendations.
This notification will be sent via email, Slack, or MS Teams (depending on your notification settings) only. This will not create a homepage task for participating managers.
When a compensation cycle ends
Once a compensation cycle ends, admins can share results with managers and employees.
This notification will be sent via email, Slack, or MS Teams (depending on your notification settings). Participating managers will receive a task on their Home page prompting them to view their results.
- If the admin has chosen to share results only with managers first, managers will receive a Slack or MS Teams notification, as well as an email that will link them to view team results. Managers will also see a task on their Lattice homepage. Once the manager shares the results with their employees, those employees will also receive notifications.
- If an admin has chosen to share results directly with managers and employees at once, both managers and employees will receive notifications that the results have been shared. If a manager has both recommendations to review, as well as their own personal results, they will receive both notifications.
