Create a Compensation Cycle: Setup

The Setup page of a compensation cycle setup allows admins to name the cycle and set compensation cycle admins.

Setup

1. Enter a Cycle Name: The title of your compensation cycle should be clear and descriptive. This name will appear for managers and managers of managers who will participate in the cycle.
2. Choose your Recommendation Visibility: 
   • Two-way visibility: Everyone in the approval chain can view the current state of the recommendation throughout the cycle. 
   • One-way visibility: Once a recommender or approver submits, they lose access to the cycle until an admin shares the results of the cycle. 
     
     Note: This setting cannot be changed once the cycle has launched. 
3. (Optional) Cycle Permissions: 
   • Search and select Compensation cycle admins: Compensation cycle admins will be able to configure, launch, and run the compensation cycle they have been added to.
   • View employees with Targeted Permissions granted via custom roles: View the employees with permissions to view, edit, and export compensation changes for their designated employees. To create or edit custom roles select Manage roles. 
4. Select Continue.
