The Notification page allows admins to set the default notification preferences for your employees. Employees cannot turn off notifications you select as always on, but they can choose how they receive them in the Notifications Center.
Employees can choose from:
- (If enabled) Microsoft Teams
- (If enabled) Slack
Before you start
- Slack or Microsoft Teams must be integrated before employees can see the option on their Notifications page.
- Disabling and reintegrating the Slack or Microsoft Teams integration will remove all user notification settings.
- For Compensation, Goals and Performance there are some notifications that won't be shown in this list as they are cycle-dependent.
Enable or Disable Notifications
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > Platform > Notifications.
- Select which notifications the employees will receive:
- On: Requires the notification for all employees, though they can choose how they will receive it.
- Off: Notification option will be hidden from the employees. If selecting Employees can modify alongside Off, this allows employees to opt-in to the notification.
- Employees can modify: Employees start with the default setting, but can change it themselves.
- Select Save.
