A list of e-mail notifications for review cycles generated by automation rules
Automated rule review cycles have several unique notifications compared to org chart and project based reviews.
The notifications to managers and direct reports during peer selection, review writing, and sharing are the same as non-automated reviews, which you can see in this article on review cycle email notifications.
Notifications by launch settings
When you configure an automated rule, you can choose to automatically launch each cycle it creates, or have Lattice generate a draft to be launched on a manual sequence. With auto-launch enabled, you write your notifications and determine when they'll be sent during each cycle while creating the rule itself.
Manual: Auto-launch off
Selecting finish setup in the notification will direct you to the review cycle, on the Automated Rules tab of the Admin > Reviews > Auditing page. You'll find the cycle in a Draft status. Make your final edits as necessary, verify and create the cycle, and then manually launch it whenever you're ready.
After the finish setup notification, this review will generate the same notifications as a non-automated review.
Automatic: Auto-launch on
With auto-launch on, all super admins, whether or not they created the cycle, will receive a notification when the rule creates a cycle that shows when it will launch.
Please note that rules set to automatically launch reviews generate each cycle 7 days in advance of the number you enter in the days after the employee's start date field when configuring the rule.

Admins receive additional reminder notifications before the review proceeds through each stage on the timeline you set in the rule. You can see examples of this reminder for peer selection, review writing, and the end of the review below.
