The Lattice AI Agent can answer employee questions on everything from HR policies to talent and development programs based on documents admins upload to Lattice.
Enable the Lattice AI Agent
- Navigate to Admin > Lattice AI > Features.
- Toggle on the Lattice AI Agent.
Once Lattice AI Agent has been enabled, it will only be visible to admins and Lattice AI Agent custom role owners. When
Configure Custom Role Permissions
Lattice AI Agent custom role owners will have full permissions for Lattice AI Agent tools and settings.
- Navigate to Admin > People > Permissions.
- Select Create Role.
- Add:
- Role Name
- Role Description
- Role Members
- Under Global Permissions > Lattice AI > Check Lattice AI Agent.
- Select Save Changes.
Set up the Lattice AI Agent
Add Sources
The Lattice AI Agent will pull responses based on the documents uploaded.
Admins can upload documents:
- Manually:
- Navigate to Admin > AI Agent > Knowledge Vault.
- Select Add Sources > Manual Upload.
- Via Lattice HRIS Documents
- Via an integration (Google Drive or SharePoint)
Add a Custom Disclaimer
Admins can enable a custom disclaimer which shows at the start of the conversation.
- Navigate to Admin > Lattice AI > AI Agent > Configuration.
- Toggle on Show a custom disclaimer.
- Enter your custom disclaimer language.
- Select Save changes.
Add a Default Response
Add a default response for the Lattice AI Agent to reply when it is unable to answer a question.
- Navigate to Admin > Lattice AI > AI Agent > Configuration.
- Enter the default response text.
- Select Save changes.
