Admins can set up a workflow around employee milestones with tasks or automated emails. Common examples of this workflow are start date, birthdate, and anniversary. If what you’re looking for is not already included as a Lattice Workflow Template, you can create an Employee Milestone workflow from scratch.
- Navigate to Admin > Workflows > Overview.
- Select Create Workflow > Start from scratch.
- Select Employee milestone.
- Enter the Workflow details
- Enter a Name for the workflow and a Fallback assignee who will be responsible for approvals or actions that can’t be assigned.
-
Set a Trigger Date
- Choose a date to begin this workflow. Admins have the ability to trigger the workflow on a selected date or set a number of days before or after the selected date. If your preferred date trigger is not here, go to Employee Fields to create a custom date field.
