The Manage performance reviews custom role permission gives the custom role owner access to an upcoming, active, or ended review cycles that anyone in their target group is involved in. This permission gives the custom role owner admin privileges within the review cycle for their targeted group, however, there are some actions the role owner can take that will impact all employees within the review cycle.

Note: The Admin page will only be visible to custom role owners if the review cycles include target group members as reviewees.

The following chart lists actions that can be completed by the role owner and who it will impact :

Remove peer approver

Add peer approver

Peer approver can be outside the targeted group. They will receive a notification.

Peer reviewer can be outside the targeted group.

Send notifications to the peer approvers even outside of the targeted group

Send notification to all participants of the review cycle.

Send notification to all participants of the review cycle.

Will send a notification to reviewers even if they are not in the targeted group

Add reviewee to reviewer (reviewers are inside or outside their target group)

End review cycle for one reviewee

End review cycle for all reviewees

Will send a notification to reviewers even if they are not in the targeted group

Reminder to share packet

Will send a notification to packet sharer of the targeted group of reviewees even if they are not in the targeted group
