Custom role Employee Fields permissions allow admins to give specific employees visibility and admin-like access to sensitive employee fields and their values. Permissions can be assigned to employees on a need-to-know basis for visibility during calibration and compensation cycles.
Note: Admins can configure visibility to fields for default roles including Self, All Employees, Manager of Managers, and People Managers within the Permissions page.
Custom role Employee Fields permissions are targeted. Permissions only apply to the subset of employees that the admin has selected for the role owner. The role member(s) will not have access to the private information of other employees that fall outside of this subset.
