Engagement Insights summarize open-ended engagement survey comments into key trends, summaries, and recommendations on how to take action. Insights are visible to super admins and engagement admins.
After an engagement survey ends, Lattice will automatically generate key driver analysis insights to help admins better understand results. Our key driver analysis methodology is anchored on identifying the correlation between theme and question results and high eNPS scores. Our algorithm chooses the best correlation approach based on your survey and data size to ensure that the analysis is both accurate and meaningful.
Note: To access Engagement Insights, an admin must enable Lattice AI. Learn more in Manage Lattice AI Access.

Key Driver Analysis
Using Key Driver Analysis, admins can synthesize the results of an Engagement Survey. Once your survey has closed, Lattice AI delivers a key driver analysis that surfaces your top themes impacting engagement and provides recommendations on how to improve.
- Navigate to Admin > Engagement.
- Click View Results > Insights.
Provide feedback
You can mark a trend as helpful by upvoting or downvoting. From there, provide additional feedback on the usefulness of the trend.
Once a survey is ended, Lattice AI will deliver all open-ended comments from survey respondents and summarize them into two to seven common trends. Insights will provide a summary and an actionable recommendation at the top of the tab.
The relevant open-ended comments left by respondents that make up each trend are listed below the summary. Clicking on a comment will navigate you to the original question's Details page.
Engagement Insights within Shared Views

- Select either Manager, Department, or Custom depending on who is receiving the Shared View.
- Click Settings > click Show Engagement Insights > Save.
- Select the box next to the name of the Department Head or Manager. For a Custom Shared view, apply the necessary fields via the filter bar, and then proceed to step 5.
- Select Share Selected to share the view to the employee(s).
