Lattice org chart reviews are customizable and easy to create. Org chart reviews utilize the employee reporting structure to auto-assign self, upward, and manager reviews. The Upward review direction has direct reports review their managers within the review cycle.

Note: Upward reviews will only be shared with managers, if configured, when the review cycle ends and the manager's manager has shared the review packet with them.
Configure upward reviews
- Navigate to your review cycle.
- Navigate to Configuration > Upward review.
- Use the drop-down menu to choose the review template managers will complete when writing a review for their direct reports. Use Filters to filter by template tags attached to the desired template.
- Select Preview to view the questions associated with the selected template.
- [Optional] Limit upward reviewers by direct report start date.
- This prevents direct reports from reviewing their managers if their start date was after the date you select. Only direct reports with an earlier start date will be added as an upward reviewer for their manager.
- Choose what will be shared with direct reports within their review packet. The options include:
- Share all feedback with reviewers' names attached: Managers will have visibility into all feedback their direct reports submitted about them, along with the names of each report attached to the feedback
- Share all feedback, with reviewers' comments anonymized: Managers will have visibility into all feedback their direct reports submitted about them; however, all feedback will be labeled as anonymous
- Only share feedback with the reviewee's manager with reviewers' names attached: Managers will not receive any feedback their direct reports submitted about them. Instead, all feedback and the name of the direct report who wrote it will be visible to the manager's manager.
- Only share feedback with the reviewee's manager with reviewers' comments anonymized: Managers will not receive any feedback their direct reports submitted about them. Instead, all feedback will be visible to the manager's manager and labeled as anonymous.
