Once a review cycle has been launched, reviewers will lock in place. However, if needed manager changes that occur during a review cycle can be reflected in an active cycle. Admins can adjust who should complete the downward and upwards reviews and select a new review packet sharer.
Note: Any reviews submitted will be permanently deleted.
Change manager responsibility if the reviewer is the new manager
- Navigate to Admin > Reviews > Performance reviews.
- Select the review cycle.
- Select the Reviewees tab and select on Adjust manager task.
- Select the employee.
- Make any desired changes.
- You can choose to have either or both managers complete a downward review for the employee
- You can choose to have the employee complete upward reviews for either or both managers
- You will see a notification letting you know that any previously written reviews will be permanently deleted once the manager has been updated. To confirm changes, type DELETE REVIEW
- Click Save.
Note: Peer selection and manager writer and sharer can only be given to one manager to complete.
Change manager responsibilities if the reviewer is not the true manager
If you would like to change the manager responsibilities without updating the employee data to have a new manager, Lattice allows you to reassign the downward reviewer and upward reviewee directly within the review cycle.
- In the Reviews section of the cycle, enter the Reviewees tab.
- Find the reviewee you want to add an additional manager to.
- In the right context panel, click Edit to the right of the list of names.
- Enter the name of the new reviewer.
- To remove the current reviewer, click the X next to the reviewer name.
To change an upward reviewee, follow the same steps for the manager reviewee as for the employee reviewee above.
Visibility
- If you change the manager writer and packet sharer to the new manager, the new manager will have visibility into the self/peer/upward reviews (if visibility is enabled).
- If you leave the manager writer and packet sharer set to the old manager, the old manager and the new manager will have visibility into the self/peer/upward reviews (if visibility is enabled).
