Admins and Compensation Admins can advance the Compensation process by submitting the latest recommendations on behalf of a recommender, moving it to the next person in the approval chain.
Before you start
- All of the selected manager's in-progress and completed recommendations will be transferred to the next manager in the approval chain. They will still be able to view the active compensation cycle, but won’t be able to edit what was submitted by the admin.
- An admin cannot submit on behalf of a manager unless all required managers earlier in the approval chain have submitted their recommendations. If a downstream manager (i.e., one who reports up to the manager the admin is submitting for) has not yet submitted, the admin must first go back and submit on behalf of that downstream manager before proceeding.
From the Recommendations page
- Navigate to Admin > Compensation > Compensation Cycles.
- Choose the compensation cycle, select View progress > Navigate to the Recommendations page.
- Search for the employee > Under Approval flow, next to the manager select the ellipsis (...) > Submit recommendations.
- In the confirmation model, confirm who you are submitting on behalf of, who you submitting to and the employees you are recommending for.
- Confirm the submissions by selecting Submit on behalf of (manager name).
From the Manager Progress page
- Navigate to Admin > Compensation > Compensation Cycles.
- Choose the compensation cycle, select View progress > Navigate to the Managers Progress page.
- Search for the manager > Select the ellipsis (...) > Submit recommendations.
- In the confirmation model, confirm who you are submitting on behalf of, who you submitting to and the employees you are recommending for.
- Confirm the submissions by selecting Submit on behalf of (manager name).
