Integrate Lattice HRIS with Greenhouse

Greenhouse is an Applicant Tracking Software you can integrate with Lattice HRIS to automatically create and update Hired users for onboarding.

Before getting started

  • Please make sure that Lattice has been set up as the source of truth. 
  • The person setting this integration up should be a super admin on both Lattice and Greenhouse.
  • Only users marked as Hired and whose start dates have not yet come up will be synced to Lattice.
  • Once synced, they will appear on the Onboarding Overview page in Lattice.

What information will come over to Lattice from Greenhouse?

By default, the following fields are mapped:

 Legal last name, Preferred last name
Offer > Start Date Start Date
Candidate > Work Email address Work email

Candidate > Address[home] - Address Line 2 Address line 2
Candidate > Address[home] - City Address city
Candidate > Address[home] - State Address state
Candidate > Address[home] - Zipcode Address postal code
Job > Department Department
Job > Title Job Title

Additional Notes/Constraints: 

  • Custom fields cannot be synced to Lattice.
  • Departments must exist on both Lattice and Greenhouse in order to be synced. 
  • For the phone number, whichever number type (Home, Work, or Mobile) is entered first in the candidate's profile is the one that will sync over. 
  • The email address in Greenhouse must be designated as 'Personal' in order to map correctly to Lattice's Personal Email. 
  • If a Start Date field is not available in the Offer object wwhen marking a candidate as hired, the Greenhouse admin must create that field and fill it out at the time of hiring.

Initiate the setup

  1. Generate your API key in Greenhouse. To learn more about generating your API in Greenhouse:
    • API Type: Harvest 
    • Partner: Lattice HRIS
    • The following Permissions are automatically included (GET only in each) 
      • Applications
      • Candidates 
      • Custom Field Options
      • Custom Fields 
      • Jobs 
      • Offers 
  2. In Lattice, navigate to Company > Platform > Integrations.
  3. Navigate to the ATS Integrations section > select Greenhouse. You will then be prompted to enter the Greenhouse API key. 
  4. You should now be able to manually run the sync. 
  5. When ready, toggle on Auto-sync so the sync will initiate daily at 2:00 AM PST.
