Fiscal quarters will match the fiscal year in Goals.

When using fiscal years in Lattice, Goals will display the appropriate fiscal quarter based on the prescribed fiscal year terminology, for example, Q1 2023. Fiscal years are referenced by their end date or end year – not necessarily the current year.

When a fiscal year begins on any month besides January, the fiscal year will automatically be labeled to reflect the next year. For example, FY 2023 would use Q1 2023, Q2 2023, etc. to refer to quarters even though the current dates are in 2022.

The fiscal year does not impact companies using goal cycles because goals are tied to cycle dates, not fiscal year dates.
