Problem
- I am receiving a Cannot find manager error in the import log
- Cannot find manager error when syncing with HRIS
Resolution
There are a few reasons why the Cannot find manager error may appear in the import log:
- Your employee does not have a manager set within your HRIS and is supposed to, based on reporting structure. You must add a manager to their profile in your HRIS to resolve this error.
- The manager exists in your HRIS but does not exist in Lattice. You will need to make sure the manager profile exists and is syncing into Lattice to resolve this error.
