Admins can Close submissions for a compensation cycle to stop managers from submitting additional recommendations and approvals. This will move the compensation cycle to an In Review state that will prevent further changes from recommenders and approvers.
Once all changes are complete and compensation statements are shared, admins can End cycle.
See Compensation Cycle States for more details on the lifecycle of a Compensation Cycle.
Before you start
- Cycles can be ended at any time, even if recommendations and approvals have not all been completed.
- Managers who have not submitted their recommendations will be unable to do so once submissions are closed.
- Compensation cycles can always be re-opened after they are moved to In Review or Ended.
Close submissions
Closing submissions will move the compensation cycle to an In Review state. This state will prevent any recommenders and approvers from submitting any further changes, but will allow admins to make changes. This state also allows admin to begin sharing results.
- Navigate to Admin > Compensation > Compensation Cycle.
- Within any tab in the cycle, select Close Submissions.
- A confirmation modal will appear –– Select Close Submissions.
End a compensation cycle
After a cycle has been moved to the In Review state, you have the ability to fully End the cycle.
- Navigate to Admin > Compensation > Compensation Cycle.
- Within any tab in the cycle, select End cycle.
- A confirmation modal will appear –– Select End Cycle.
