When Send submissions back is enabled for a compensation cycle, approvers can send submitted compensation recommendations back to a previous reviewer for changes. The reviewer can update the recommendations and submit them again.
Note: Admins must enable Send submissions back during compensation cycle setup for this option to be available.
Send recommendations back to a recommender
Navigate to Compensation > Compensation cycles and select the active compensation cycle.
Navigate to View > Your Approvals > Ready for Review.
Select the checkbox next to the recommendation you want to send back.
Select Send back.
Add a note and select Send back.
The recommender can edit the impacted recommendations and submit them again.
What happens when recommendations are sent back?
The previous reviewer regains access to edit the recommendation.
The reviewer must submit the recommendation again before it can continue through the approval process.
