How to use the context panel to view calibration notes in a review cycle
While writing a review, managers and downward reviewers can view calibration notes submitted by an admin during the calibration review phase if given access. Reviewers can utilize this information to help provide additional context and examples to their responses when a review is reopened after calibration or they are writing their manager summary.

Before you start
Calibration notes are only visible after the Scoring & Calibration phase has ended and an admin has given access. Therefore, notes may only be visible if your review has been reopened or you are writing your manager summary. For more information, check out the Review Visibility section outlined in this article.
Entering the review cycle
You can enter your review cycle from your Home page or from the People navigation bar.
Entering your review via the Homepage:
Step 1: Navigate to your Home page.
Step 2: Select on Perform your reviews task.
Entering your review via the People page:
Step 1: Navigate to the People page.
Step 2: Select your name at the top to be taken to your Profile.
Step 3: Select the Reviews tab and select the review cycle.

Using the reviews context panel when writing a review
Step 1: Enter the You tab, and select the name of your reviewee from the left-hand panel. On the right-hand side, the context panel will become visible.
Step 2: Select on the drop-down menu and select Calibration notes.
Using the reviews context panel when writing a manager summary
Step 1: Under the My team tab > Share results, select the name of a direct report.
Step 2: Select on the drop-down menu and select Calibration notes.
Visibility
Calibration notes are only visible to the reviewers who have the correct permissions assigned to view the responses. This includes:
- Managers when reviewing their direct reports after the Scoring & Calibration phase
- Downward reviewers when reviewing their downward reviewees after the Scoring & Calibration phase
- Managers of managers, peer reviewers, and self reviewers do not have visibility into calibration notes
