Calibration in a review cycle can occur any time after the launch of the review cycle. Admins can adjust scores directly in Lattice or bulk-update using a CSV.
Before you start
- You can make the calibration process more manageable by creating calibration groups and sharing review data with calibration contributors. However, due to the sensitivity of the data, only Lattice admins or those with a calibration custom role (link) can input calibrated scores. You can create a calibration custom role for any non-admin user you wish to give the necessary permission to calibrate for a selected group.
- If you choose not to calibrate a reviewee's ratings, the reviewee will see the ratings the manager submitted for them within their review packet.
- If you choose not to calibrate a reviewee's ratings because it did not change, their rating will not appear in the review results when viewing the calibrated question. As a best practice, recommend inputting a rating in the calibrated column even if it remains the same.
- In order to prohibit managers from being able to change the employee score after calibration has ended and manager reviews have been reopened, you need to make sure that you've entered a score under the post-calibrated column even if the score remained the same as the pre-calibrated one.
