Change the parent goal of a key result

Problem

• I need to move Key Results from one Goal to another?
• How can I change a Key Result goal from one objective to another?
• I want to move a child Goal from one parent Goal to a different parent Goal?

Resolution

You can update the parent goal associated with a key result by editing the key result.

1. Navigate to Goals from the Homepage.
2. Locate the key result you would like to update.
3. Click the ellipsis (...) next to the key result, then select Edit.
4. In the Parent Goal (optional) section, click Remove Parent Goal.
5. Click Choose goal and search for the new parent goal.
6. Select the goal, then click Choose Parent Goal.
7. Click Save.
