Note: Lattice MCP is currently only available for customers with data hosted in North America.
Admin Set up
These steps must be completed by an administrator before members of your organization can connect Lattice MCP to Slack.
First, ensure that you have set up the Slack integration with Lattice. You will also need to ensure that your current Slack plan allows you access to Slackbot.
In Lattice
- Go to Admin > Platform > MCP Integrations.
- In the dropdown, next to Slack, select Allowed.
Individual Set up
Once an admin has connected the Slack integration to Lattice and allowed the Lattice MCP for Slack, you can connect your own Lattice account to Slackbot.
- In Slack, go to Apps > Slackbot.
- Click the Connections icon > Manage apps
- On the Integrations tab, click Connect next to Lattice MCP
- Click Continue to Lattice MCP
- Enter your Lattice subdomain and select Continue.
- Log in to Lattice.
- Review the permissions Lattice asks you to grant:
- View employee information via MCP
- View feedback via MCP
- View goals via MCP
- View Grow competencies and tracks via MCP
- View and write meetings via MCP
- View and write performance reviews via MCP
- View and write updates via MCP
- Select Authorize to grant these permissions.
- You will see confirmation that your account is connected.
- Back in Slack, review the 'Manage Lattice MCP' settings and then click Save.
- Once this is done, you have successfully connected Lattice MCP to Slackbot AI. You can now ask it Lattice-related questions about your account.
