Lattice MCP Integrations Overview

Note: Lattice MCP is only currently available for customers with data hosted in North America and for those with Early Access. To get early access to Lattice MCP, reach out to your Customer Account Manager.

Lattice MCP is a secure connector that allows AI Tools (like Claude or ChatGPT) to interact with and act on Lattice data. It brings Lattice data (Reviews, 1:1s, Feedback, Goals, and Updates) directly into those AI assistants. 

With Lattice MCP you can:

  • Draft reviews using context from goals, updates, feedback, 1:1s, and review history.
  • Prepare for people conversations using instant summaries of team context, progress, and blockers.
  • Take action without switching tools by drafting or submitting reviews and updates directly from AI Tools.

Users can connect individually, so that the external AI tool can only access the data the user is already allowed to see in Lattice.

Set up a Custom Connection with Lattice MCP

Admin set up

In Lattice

  1. Go to Admin > Platform > MCP Server 
  2. Click 'Add MCP Server'
  3. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret (if your Agent requires this)
  4. Click 'Done, I've copied my credentials'
  5. Paste in the Redirect URL from your Agent
  6. Click 'Add'
  7. Click 'Complete'

In your Agent

  1. Add a custom connection in your Agent's settings
  2. Enter the name for your Custom Connector
  3. Enter the Lattice MCP URL: https://api.latticehq.com/mcp 
  4. Paste the Client ID that you copied from Lattice into the Client ID field
  5. Leave the Client Secret blank or paste this in if it's a required field
  6. Click 'Add'

Individual Set up

Once an admin has configured the Lattice MCP Connector, you can connect your own Lattice account to the Lattice Connector in your Agent. 

  1. In your Agent, click on Connectors > select the Lattice connector 
  2. Click Connect and you will be redirected to Lattice 
  3. Enter your Lattice subdomain and click Continue 
  4. Log in to Lattice 
  5. Lattice will ask you to grant the Lattice MCP the following permissions: 
    • View employee information via MCP 
    • View feedback via MCP 
    • View goals via MCP 
    • View Grow competencies and tracks via MCP 
    • View and write meetings via MCP 
    • View and write performance reviews via MCP 
    • View and write updates via MCP
  6. Click Authorize to allow these permissions 
  7. Click Open to navigate back to your Agent
  8. Once this is done, you have connected Lattice MCP to your Agent and can begin chatting with your data.
