Problem
- I want to run a review cycle without downward reviews.
- Is there a way to create a review cycle that only includes a self review?
- Exclude managers from writing reviews.
Resolution
While there isn't a way to not have a downward review in the set up, there are a few workarounds:
- Option 1: When setting up the Review Cycle, choose to only include the manager summary and have managers write N/A in the summary box to be able to share review packets.
- Option 2: When you are setting up the review cycle, you can select the option for managers to fill out a review template, then in Template Overrides section, you can use the department field (so long as it is assigned to everyone), and then you can opt to exclude each department. You can also use another field that applies to all.
