Problem
- Employees are receiving the 'failed to reset password, please request another link' error message when attempting to reset their password. We do not use SSO.
- When resetting my password, I get the error: 'failed to reset password, please request another link'.
Resolution
- It's possible the users are clicking on an old password reset link. Ensure that employees click the latest reset link in the thread.
- Ask your employee to delete all 'Lattice - Password Reset' emails from their inboxes, then trigger the password reset for the employee. This step is to ensure employees do not accidentally open an old reset link.
- Ensure employees are meeting these requirements for their new password
- Use lowercase letters (abc)
- Use uppercase Letters (XYZ)
- Use numbers (123)
- Use special characters (ex: !@#$)
- Is ~12 characters
