Admins can upload any past external reviews into Lattice using our historical review uploader. Once historical reviews are uploaded, they will be visible to the reviewee, their manager, and Admins.
Before you start
The ability to upload historical reviews is not a default feature in Lattice. To have this turned on for your account, contact Customer Care.
Uploading Historical Reviews
- Within the lefthand navigation, navigate to your Company name > Employees > Select an employee.
- Click on the Reviews tool from the top toolkit, and scroll down to the Historical reviews section. From here, select to Upload past review.
- Select to Upload past review and then choose the file you would like to upload.
- The file will be visible within the Reviews tab of the employee's profile beneath Historical reviews
Bulk upload historical reviews
If you need to bulk upload historical reviews, the Customer Care team can enable historical reviews on your behalf and then upload your historical reviews.
- Prepare a zip file of historical reviews using the file format and naming requirements listed below.
- Contact Customer Care to arrange a secure file upload.
File format and naming requirements
- Format:
- All reviews must be in PDF format (.pdf)
- All reviews must be collected into one .zip file per review cycle
- Note: The individual PDFs should not be zipped. Only the parent folder needs to be zipped.
- File naming:
- The file name of all PDFs must include the employee's full email address OR employee ID (case sensitive) exactly at the beginning of the file name in order for the reviews to be associated with the correct employees.
- Note: Emails are not case sensitive, but employee IDs that include letters are case sensitive. Multiple underscores are supported.
- Acceptable file name format:
- [Full employee email address or Employee ID].pdf
- ✔︎ Employee@company.com.pdf
- ✔︎ EmployeeIDNumber.pdf
- [Full employee email address or Employee ID]_[Name of review cycle].pdf
- The review cycle name is optional, but if included it MUST be separated from the ID or email address by an underscore
- ✔︎ Employee@company.com_2018YearEndReview.pdf
- ✔︎ EmployeeIDNumber_2018YearEndReview.pdf
- [Full employee email address or Employee ID].pdf
- Unacceptable file names:
- ❌ EmployeeName.pdf (does not include email address or employee ID)
- ❌ Employee@company.com2018YearEndReview.pdf (no underscore between email and review cycle name)
- ❌ EmployeeID-2018YearEndReview.pdf (review cycle name separated from employee ID by a hyphen instead of an underscore)
- The file name of all PDFs must include the employee's full email address OR employee ID (case sensitive) exactly at the beginning of the file name in order for the reviews to be associated with the correct employees.
Note: If you are uploading more than one review per employee, each review cycle should have its own zipped folder.
