Goals are a great way to track professional objectives and initiatives. By using goal cycles, you will have the ability to send notifications and monitor progress on your organization's goals for a specific time period. This article will walk you through the different phases of goal cycle creation.
Step 1: Click on the Admin icon at the bottom of the discovery navigation.
Step 2: Select "Goals" and then "Goal cycles."
Step 3: Click "Create new cycle."
Step 2: Give your goal cycle a name, start date, and due date.
Step 1: Select the types of goals that you want people to see.
Goals can be for an individual, a department, and/or the company.
Step 2: Add a subject and body to your goal-setting emails.
You can add in any additional information that you feel would be beneficial for your organization to know, e.g., expectations for updating goals, frequency, etc. The email will include a button that states "Set goals," which will lead employees to Lattice.
Step 3: Send yourself a preview (optional).
Please note: If you would like to turn notifications off, you can toggle to disable any goal cycle notifications.
Step 1: Verify all of the information is correct.
If you need to make any changes, click back into Notifications.
Step 2: Select "Create goal cycle"
Once you have launched the goal cycle process you can track the goals under the goal cycle.
You are also able to change the settings once the goal cycle has been created. To do so, select "Setup" and this will take you back into the settings.
