You can change the default time filter for the Goals tool from the admin settings page for goals. This impacts the default view for all of your users on the Goals: Explore, Participation, and Status pages.
If you select Current cycle, your current goal cycle will automatically be applied to the time filter on all of those pages for all of your users. If you select All time, those pages will have the time filter automatically set to all time for all of your users.
How to select your default time filter for goals:
- Switch to admin
- Navigate to Goals > Settings
- Select Show section next to the Advanced heading
- Find the Default goal cycles heading
- Select your preferred setting, either Current cycle or All time
- Use the Save button to lock in your choice
