Terminating or deactivating an employee does not always remove them from payroll processing. The employee may still appear in payroll runs or syncs.
To fully remove someone from payroll, they must be reclassified as a Contingent Worker in their employment details.
- Navigate to Admin > Directory.
- Search for and select the employee.
- Under Profile, navigate to Employment> Employee details.
- Expand the section to edit the Employee type to Contingent Worker.
- Select Add.
