Admins can automate the data transfer of user information from Lattice HRIS to Sequoia BenAdmin using the SFTP Center. It does not connect with the Sequoia PEO or Sequoia One product.
Before you start
- You must be a super admin in Lattice.
- You must have your SFTP Credentials from Sequoia. If you do not have them, contact your Sequoia point of contact to retrieve them.
- You must have your mapping file from Sequoia so that you know how to format your report. Lattice has a pre-configured template, which includes the mapping of Lattice fields to Sequioa column requirements. If you have special requirements for your file, please communicate with Sequoia to determine the necessary file formatting.
Initiate the setup
- In Lattice, go to Admin > Platform > SFTP Center.
- Select Create report for SFTP > select Sequoia Template.
- Give your report a name > click Next: Configure report columns.
- In the Configure report columns, you can edit the criteria for which employees will be included in the report.
- Without any filters, Lattice will send any employee who is currently Active and has a Termination Date in the last 30 days. This filter is a requirement of Sequoia.
- The pre-set mapping you see is according to Sequoia’s mapping requirements, but you can edit it according to your needs.
- Click Next: Configure SFTP.
- In Configure SFTP, enter the SFTP credentials provided by Sequoia. We support username/password and SSH authentication.
- On this page, you can toggle the Auto-sync located on the upper right to automatically send the report daily at ~2:00 AM PST.
- Once done, click Finish.
Run, Edit, or Delete your SFTP Integration
When you navigate back to the SFTP Center, click the ellipsis on the right of your Sequoia report, you will have the following options:
- Edit report to update your settings.
- Sync now to run an immediate sync.
- Delete report to completely remove your settings.
Value Mapping and Expressions Mapping
Value Mapping: If you want to map a dropdown field in Lattice, you must select “value mapping,” even if you want to map the field's sub-values exactly as they appear in Lattice.
Expressions Mapping: Lattice has worked with Sequoia to properly format the file from Lattice to Sequoia according to Sequoia requirements for certain field mappings. See below for the specific "expression logic" that is included in the file that you see in the Sequoia Template.
