The Directory is your employee management hub. Admins will be able to see all of their employees (future hires, active and terminated), view high-level employee information at a glance, add new employees, filter and search for employees, and export CSV data.
To view the Directory:
- Navigate to Admin > Organization > Directory.
- In Lattice, employees fall into tabs within the Directory based on their employment status.
- Active: Employee start date in the past; Term date null or in the future
- Pending: Employee start date null or in the future; Term date null
- Terminated: Employee start date in the past; Term date today or in the past (not null)
- To view a subset of employees quickly, select an employee status, use the search bar, select a field to filter employees, or sort (by department, manager, start date, or last working day).
- Add new employees into Lattice one by one by selecting Add employee.
- Select Download CSVs to export directory data.
- Quick Export: Download all employee data, several of the most common default Lattice fields, as well as all your custom fields.
- Create custom export: Download something more specific, this will bring you to the Employee Snapshot Export in a new tab.
