Admins have the ability to archive custom fields that are no longer relevant to their organization. Default fields are not archivable in Lattice. To prevent a default field from being accessible to employees, edit the field-level permission within default roles. (Update with links once created).
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > People > Fields
- Search and select the relevant custom field.
- Select Archive field.
- In the confirmation pop-up select Archive.
Note: If the custom field being archived is assigned to employees, it will be removed from employee profiles.
The field will now be listed within the Archived tab of employee fields.
Restore a Custom Field
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > People > Fields.
- Navigate to the Archived tab.
- Search for or select the relevant archived custom field.
- Select Restore field.
