Through the Imports page, admins can update employees’ historical records regarding employment, job information, compensation, etc. See the complete list below.
Note: An employee’s profile must already exist before you can upload data to it. Lattice will find employee profiles using the work email included in the CSV. Additionally, this upload will override existing active and historical data for all included employees. Your import must include an employee’s complete record, including current and all historical data. This action can’t be undone.
- Navigate to Admin > Settings > Platform.
- Select Imports > New Import > Record historical data for existing employees.
- From here, select the specific Lattice .csv template that you need for the upload. The list of templates available are:
- Job architecture changes template
- Address changes template
- Manager changes template
- Department changes template
- Job Title changes template
- Employee Details changes template
- Employment changes template
- Base Payments changes template
- Variable Payments changes template
- Bonus Plans changes template
- Equity Grants changes template
- Bonus Payouts changes template
- Select Next: Upload CSV. Work email is required to identify which employees to upload historical data for.
- The specific fields that are available in the historical upload are included in the CSV template as column headers.
- Once you’ve selected your CSV to upload, click Validate
- If there are any formatting errors in your CSV, these will be flagged in pre-validation when you upload your CSV. Select Cancel and make updates to your CSV format to reupload.
- If there are no formatting errors, you’ll be shown a validation screen of any issues with the data you are uploading. If the data issues prevent you from uploading, select Cancel and make updates to your CSV format to reupload.
- If there are no errors preventing the upload, select Import.
Note: Avoid uploading any blank fields within the CSV to prevent fields from nulling and deleting data from employee profiles
