Workflows in Lattice enable people teams to do their best work. This is achieved by automating repetitive tasks, unlocking workforce potential through self-service (with appropriate checks and balances), and connecting signals to actions.
A workflow consists of a trigger and a set of actions. Once a workflow is triggered, it automatically executes the actions as the admin has configured them. Admins can then view the status of these active workflows and take necessary actions, such as reassigning an approval, editing a task, or canceling a workflow altogether.
In addition to Lattice’s Workflow Templates, you can create the following workflow types from scratch:
-
Job Update Request
- Examples: Promotions and manager changes
-
Personal Data Update
- Examples: Address and SSN changes
-
Employee Milestone
- Examples: Birthdate and anniversary
