Edit an Objective or Key Result

Once you have created a goal, you may want to edit the details of the goal set during the creation.  

You can edit a goal in two different places in Lattice:

• Edit an objective or key result from the Goals Explore context panel
• Edit an objective from the Goal Details page
• Edit a supporting objective or key result from the Goal Details page

Edit an objective or key result from the Goals Explore context panel

1. Navigate to Goals > Your goals.
2. Click on the desired objective or key result to open the goal context panel. 
3. Click More > Edit.
4. Make the desired changes to the goal fields and Save. 

Edit an objective from the Goal Details page

1. Navigate to the goal that you want to update.
   • You may have a task on your Home page reminding you that it is time to update your goals. 
   • You may have received an email to remind you that it is time to update your goals.
   • You may enter the profile by clicking on the goal name with the Goals page context panel.
2. At the top right corner, click Edit to be taken to the Goal creation page.
3. Make the desired changes to the goal fields and Save. 

Edit a supporting objective or key result from the Goal Details page

1. Navigate to the parent Goals Details page.
2. Under the Supported by list, click on the desired support goal you wish to edit to enter their Goals Details page.
3. At the top right corner, click Edit to be taken to the Goal creation page.
4. Make the desired changes to the goal fields and Save.
