Admins and Q&A custom role owners can create a Q&A board. With Q&A Boards, companies can create a dedicated space where employees can ask questions and get answers. Admins and custom role owners can respond to questions asked by their employees. These boards can be used in company events, like All Hands, Town Halls, off-sites, and team meetings.
Before you start
- All Lattice users can view their company’s active and closed Q&A Boards.
- Questions can be asked anonymously if the admin selects that feature when creating a new board
- Employees cannot submit questions once a board has been closed.
Ask a question
- Enter the Q&A board using one of the following methods:
- Navigate to your company name > Q&A > Click to enter board.
- Note: Use the search bar to browse through Q&A board titles.
- Click on the board link shared by your admin.
- Navigate to your company name > Q&A > Click to enter board.
- Within the textbox, type in your question.
- (Optional) If the admin has enabled anonymous questions, you have the option to Ask anonymously.
- Click Post.
Note: Employees can delete their own questions after posting, but the question cannot be edited after submission.
Interact with posts
Once an admin responds to a question, employees cannot respond back.
Employees can upvote questions. The number of upvotes determines the ranking of the question. Without any upvotes, questions will be sorted in chronological order with the most recent question at the top.
Employees can sort questions by:
- All questions
- Unanswered only
- Answered only
