When creating a review cycle on a timeline sequence, each phase will move automatically throughout the review cycle. If needed, you can take manual control of the review cycle instead.
Note: Once you take manual control of a review cycle, you can no longer move the review cycle back on a timeline sequence.
Move a review cycle from timeline to manual
Navigate to Admin > Performance > Reviews.
Select the review cycle.
Select View Schedule.
Select Take manual control.
Select Yes, take manual control.

Once you have taken manual control of the review cycle, you will need to end each phase manually. To learn more, see Administer Stages of a Review.
