Lattice's Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine leverages artificial intelligence and machine technology to provide sentiment tagging. Sentiment analysis allows admins to analyze the results of comment-based responses in review packets.

Note: Sentiment scores are only visible to admins.

This article covers the following topics:

Sentiment scores in review packets

Admins can view sentiment scores within a reviewee's review packet in Lattice. Managers and employees will not see sentiment scores even when review packets are shared.

Note: Sentiment analysis only appears in web review packets, not the PDF packet.

How sentiment is scored

Cards will show an average sentiment with three faces: happy, neutral, and unhappy. The faces correspond to the following numeric ranges.

  • 1-3.9 = Negative Score

  • 4-7 = Neutral Score
