Lattice helps companies build a more inclusive workspace by allowing users to set their pronouns to let others know how to refer to them. Learn how to add pronouns to your profile and make them visible to your org.

Before you start

  • We do not support importing pronouns from HRIS integrations so that employees can choose to select and display their pronouns in Lattice.

Pronoun guidelines

The following are guidelines when adding pronouns as an admin in Lattice:

  • Pronouns can not contain numeric and special characters other than / or '

  • A pronoun can not include a space

  • The pronoun is not a required field

  • Pronouns are always displayed in () separated by /. For example: (a/b/c)

Adding pronouns to your Profile

If made visible by admins, you have the option to enter your pronouns when:

  • Registering for a Lattice account

  • Editing your profile information

Registering for a Lattice account

When accepting your invite and logging into Lattice for the first time, you can select your pronouns from the dropdown menu.

Editing your Profile

You can add pronouns at any time by editing your profile.

  1. Navigate to your name > Your profile > Profile.

  2. Select the arrow next to the Demographic category.

  3. Next to Pronouns, select the pencil icon.

  4. Select your pronouns from the dropdown.

  5. Select Add.

The default options available are:

  • He/Him

  • She/Her

  • They/Them

  • Ze/Zir

  • He/They

  • She/They

  • Please use my name

Admins will be able to add further options to the Pronoun field.

  1. Navigate to Admin> People > Fields.

  2. Select Pronouns.

  3. Type in the pronoun to Add an option> Select Add> Save.

Where are pronouns visible?

Pronouns are visible:

  1. On the profile header

    profile-page-pronouns
  2. On all tabs of Feedback

    feedback-pronouns
  3. In the Org Chart

    org-chart-pronouns
