Update a Performance Improvement Plan Before Sharing

Learn how managers can edit an unshared Improvement Plan and review admin comments before it is approved and shared with the employee.

Before you start

  • Admins cannot edit the plan on behalf of the manager unless they are the plan creators.

  • Admins can utilize the comments function to communicate adjustments directly to managers before approving the Improvement Plan.

  • Comments cannot be accessed after the plan is approved and shared with the employee.

Updating the Improvement Plan as a Manager

  1. Navigate to Performance > Improvement Plans > select the plan.

  2. Select the Edit button at the top of the page to update the Improvement Plan details.

  3. Select Save Changes.

Note: Any comments left by an admin will be visible on the Improvement Plan page.
