Performance Improvement Plans are enabled for Super Admins and users with company-wide Improvement Plan custom role permissions.

Enabling Performance Improvement Plans for Your Organization

Navigate to Admin &gt; Performance &gt; Improvement Plans tab.

Select the templates to include from the drop-down menu. If you do not have a template created, select Create one. Note: Templates with Competency or Goals enabled questions cannot be used in Performance Improvement Plans.

After adding the Improvement Plan template, managers can start creating their plans, and improvement plans will be enabled for all users.

1. Navigate to Admin &gt; Performance &gt; Improvement Plans tab.
2. Select the templates to include from the drop-down menu. If you do not have a template created, select Create one. Note: Templates with Competency or Goals enabled questions cannot be used in Performance Improvement Plans. 
3. After adding the Improvement Plan template, managers can start creating their plans, and improvement plans will be enabled for all users.

As a super admin or global Performance Improvement Plan admin, you can disable the tool for your organization at any time in the Settings tab, under Performance.
